Find out what a typical day on such an expedition looks like. How do we live? What do we catch? How do we change our fishing techniques? And finally, what results do we have?
Our fishing expeditions last five days at sea, without returning to base. We reach places where others do not fish, which is why we have such results.
Madagascar – just the name evokes thoughts of exoticism, wild nature, and endless possibilities. However, for fishing enthusiasts like myself, who have been fishing there for eight years, it is primarily an eldorado full of emotions, adventures, and spectacular catches.
A day on the ocean starts early – by 7:00 AM, some fishermen are already up to take advantage of the unique opportunities for morning fishing.
Before breakfast, which is usually served around 8:00, many of us are not idle. The anchorage is where we most often start with popping or bottom fishing using a piece of fresh fillet. The morning catches are not only a great warm-up but also a chance for spectacular strikes from the fierce Giant Trevally (GT), which can evoke emotions right at the beginning of the day.

Every morning is an opportunity to test different fishing methods. In shallow waters, popping and bottom fishing dominate, which are ideal for GT, snapper, or chicken fish. However, when we head to deeper waters, we change our tactics and equipment. Here, trolling reigns supreme – we set up several rods with different baits: live bonito, fish fillet, or artificial lures. Thanks to the variety of baits, we can expect catches of species such as sailfish, tuna, barracuda, mahi-mahi, wahoo, sharks, and even the legendary marlins.
Fishing is an art of adapting to the conditions. Depending on the weather, fish movements, and the activity of the fishing ground, we change methods and techniques. Sometimes we return to shallow waters to try speed jigging, which allows us to catch completely different species.
In the evening, we anchor our catamaran in shallower water and begin our night fishing. This is another opportunity to catch interesting species. What does a trip of a lifetime look like in our version step by step?
What we provide during the trip:

Madagascar is a paradise for anglers from all over the world. The waters here are rich in various species of fish that guarantee unforgettable experiences. What fish can you expect?
I certainly cannot promise every participant a Marlin, although we have many on our record, but I can assure you that every day will bring new records and new fishing challenges.

What does a great fishing adventure mean without a good cook?
I have been fishing in the waters of Madagascar for eight years with the same crew, which includes Judie - our excellent chef. He takes care of our guests' well-being and meals like no one else.
Fishing in Madagascar is not just a sport, but also a unique culinary experience. The local waters offer not only a wealth of species but also excellent flavors. What is worth trying
- Red Snapper: Fried with chili - one of the biggest local delicacies.
- Sashimi and tartare: Made from the freshest catches, served immediately after being caught.
- Dried wahoo: Perfect for breakfast with rice porridge.
Each meal features fresh, local ingredients that will surprise even the most demanding gourmets.
